MARCH 16

11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

DOG PARTY!

It’s snowing, but we are still heading out to Tiger Stadium, Trumbull and Michigan Ave., to let the puppies play! Hope to see you.

FEBRUARY 16

11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

DOG PARTY!

Every month, once a month, we take over the old Tigers Stadium in Corktown Detroit for a pop-up dog park. This is your chance to see what we’re all about, and to let your pooch play. Afterward, we head to PJ’s Lager House for lunch and a pint. Your dog is welcome!

Please, only non-aggressive dogs. Bring a bag for your pup’s “gifts”, because this is a shared space and we gotta love it hard and leave it clean or it’s not fair to the humans that also use it.

Please note: This is not our permanent dog park. We share this with other groups. Our permanent park will be down the street at the former Macomb Playlot.

DECEMBER 9

6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

DETROIT SOUP

Join us this Sunday as we square off against three other groups for hundreds of dollars in grants at Detroit SOUP, 2900 E. Grand Blvd. in Detroit. You show up, pay $5, have a nice meal, listen to the presentations and vote on who you think deserves the money. We’re hoping to use the funds to build a rain barrel system for our park so that we can be more independent of the city’s water supply and meet our goal of having a sustainable park.
